WORKSHOP - A (Double) Mother’s Day Virtual Retreat!

Another Mother’s Day? I grew up in Toronto, and in North America, Mother’s Day is 9th May. I’m lucky enough to be celebrated twice a year, and you should be too.
So, let’s celebrate by having two hours by yourself, for yourself.
In the midst of all the doing for others, you can forget what it’s like being in your own company.
It’s been an incredibly challenging year - the pandemic has magnified society’s inequalities, and as a primary caregiver, you’ve likely borne the brunt of the housework, childcare, homeschooling, on top of the demands of your paid job. All of this is a lot to handle.
And it’s no wonder your self care has been pushed further down the list of priorities.
So here’s an invitation to give yourself two hours to:
Check in with where you are - Meditation
Support your body through movement - Yoga
Regulate your nervous system - Restorative Yoga
Take stock - Journalling
This time away from the mothering grind will be healing and replenishing. Giving you the resources to look after your people.
